The Details

  • As soon as you sign up, you are added to the mailing list for the next printing of the newspaper. Each subscription charge is for the next month’s issue.  For example, if you sign up in May, the first issue you will receive will be the June newspaper. This helps us to correctly calculate how many newspapers we need to print.

  • The paper is printed and mailed out right before the start of each month. Please note that if you first sign up for a subscription during the last week of the month, your first issue will be mailed out a little later than usual. But once you’re on the list, you will be included in all future early mail outs.

  • We are not able to predict an exact delivery date because there are a number of varying factors that contribute to the newspaper’s delivery time. Le Petit 3 is printed and mailed from Paris, so its arrival depends upon how far away you are, if you are located outside of a major city, as well as other circumstances like the schedule of your local postal service, national holidays, or inclement weather.  It typically takes 1 week to arrive throughout Europe, 2 weeks worldwide, and sometimes 3 weeks depending upon the circumstances.  Generally, most people can expect to receive the paper by mid-month. But please keep in mind that these are only estimates and it may vary from month to month. Sometimes sending mail the old fashioned way requires a bit of patience. But we believe the anticipation and surprise is part of the fun! There’s nothing quite like the feeling of something arriving in your mailbox that you’ve been awaiting.

  • If you have yet to receive your paper but you see it’s status marked as complete, it is currently on its way to you! We mark orders as fulfilled once our mail carrier picks them up. If for some reason you do not receive your paper by the end of the month, please reach out to us within 30 days.

  • Just like with any typical magazine or newspaper subscription, there is no tracking available because Le Petit 3 is sent the old fashioned way as standard paper mail. This helps to keep the postage costs at an affordable price for our international subscribers.

  • The postage costs are included in the $9.

  • We are currently able to ship to: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, France -Reunion Island, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Principality of Andorra, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States of America.

  • If you need to change your mailing address, you must cancel your subscription and re-subscribe with your new updated address. We do not recommend only changing your address within your account, as it will not change on our end.

  • Not at all.  You are free to cancel your subscription at any time.

  • Simply log into your account on the website that you created when you signed up and opt to cancel.

  • The 3 most common reasons a payment is declined are insufficient funds, incorrect billing information, or the bank suspects it is a fraudulent charge. When a monthly payment fails to go through, our payment processor will attempt to charge you again in 5 days. If the second attempt fails as well, a third and final attempt will be made after additional 5 days before your subscription is automatically cancelled.

  • We print the exact amount of newspapers that are ordered each month. We pride ourselves on being a zero waste business.

  • Our ethos is grounded in the nostalgia of tactile ephemeral print and paper so we do not offer digital issues of the paper.  We keep our website super simple for this reason as well.  We believe all the magic happens offline.
